Are you not at home and do you have a medical complaint that cannot wait and do you need urgent help? Please contact the doctor on duty or after 17:00 with the General Practitioner (HAP) in the region where you are at that time. The telephone numbers of the GP emergency stations in the Netherlands can be found on this page.
If you have been seen by a doctor, also ask for your details (the observation message) so that your own healthcare provider can also see that you have received care outside your own region.
Are you on holiday abroad and do you unexpectedly need urgent medical help? Then call for help as soon as possible via the reception of the campsite, hotel or accommodation where you are staying. They have emergency numbers at hand. Or call your own health insurance or check your travel insurance.
In short: be well prepared for your trip and know what to do if you unexpectedly need medical help quickly.
